Project Description: For this project we had to find a technology that is up and coming in the next 5-10 years. when researching there were a lot more innovations coming around than I could have ever thought.  I chose to go with Solid-State batteries. We had to look at how it is up and coming along with all the possibilites that it could bring. 

Why I chose solid-state batteries: I chose this topic because it was personal to me. Years ago my dad's truck went up in flames because of all of his tool/batteries he had in his truck. If there is anything that I can find and or use to help, make my life and the ones around me safer I'm all for finding out as much about it as possible. 

Fun Fact- When Solid-State batteries are used in EVs or Phones changing takes a small fraction of the time and the life spand it more than doubled. 

Lesson Learned: That it is possible to create a safer and more efficient world for us to live in. Unfortunately, that comes with a steep cost. While companies are trying to cut the cost the materials to build are still at a premium so developing on a large scale (which is what is needed to produce for the mainstream) is not attainable at the moment.
