Archview Elementary School Library

Welcome to the AES Library!

We have a great selection of books at the AES Library and try to update our collection every year. Our library also includes some great online resources, creative spaces, and terrific technology. Have a look around and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Online Catalog

Meet some new characters or learn some new facts by checking the books available in the library catalog.

I have created a Digital Curation on Dropmark with resources which you can access through the link to the right or through the student, parent or educator sections of this website.

Light gray background with a darker gray frame. Larger black text reads "Digital Curation: Digital Citizenship" and smaller black text reads "With so much technology in our daily lives, it is important that we understand Digital Citizenship. Using the Dropmark website, I have created a collection with resources for educators, students and parents. There are articles, videos, podcasts and even games for students." Below is a screenshot of the Dropmark website.

What's happening this year?

We will begin the year with Library Orientation and rolling out technology to our different grade levels. We will have multiple Reading Celebrations and I will send home more information about upcoming events.

Blue background with clipart of children reading books and a librarian checking out a book to student. Centered at the top is the text, "Library Orientation" with smaller text below reading "Library Orientation will be during the first week of classes. After orientation is done, 2 books per student can be checked out."
Image created on Canva with green library rolling cart centered in the middle. There is a yellow outline of a Chromebook and a light purple outline of an iPad. Large font in capitals reads "Technology Roll-Out" and smaller font at the bottom reads, "We will begin orientation to roll out our 1:1 Chrombooks for grades 2-5 and iPads for K & 1 on August 15.
Green background with decorative lines and squiggles in yellow, purple, pink and blue. The larger text reads "Book Fair" and the smaller text reads "Each Fall and Spring, we will have a bookfair. More information to come!".
Brown background with the text "Happy Fall" centered at top with leaves around it. There is smaller text that reads "Our Fall Reading Celebration will be our last day before Fall Break. Make sure that you read, read, read!" below.
