Thrale's Scorn
Without a doubt the best melee fire weapon in the game; though it has a special, it deals 30% more damage than a standard 20% proc weapon. The only downside is that you take 18% more damage.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Nulgath's Wrath
Though Thrale's Scorn is a better choice overall, as it offers a more consistent and, on average, greater damage boost, this weapon is a lot of fun. It's 20% proc, and its special attack damages you (for about 100 HP), charging the weapon for the next turn. The next attack will deal 3x the damage. If the special happens to proc several times in a row, then the charges will stack.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Bloodzerker's Blazing Sword
Outstanding no proc with a small HP cost for 20% more damage for a total of 29% more damage. Magic/Melee compression. It has a Full Set Bonus with Blazing Bloodzerker to get a further 10% additive boost.
Unstoppable Grakma Butcherer
The best F2P option overall for most builds. It's 0% proc, and if it misses, then at the end of your turn the weapon performs an additional attack whose power depends on the number of previous hits that missed.
Location: Mt. Thrall -> Hollow's Garage -> I'm here to kick some demon tail!

Super Pzycho Sabre
The best F2P option for Beastwarriors; clicking on the weapon will call Pzycho, a solid pure-damage fire guest. If the guest is already present, then clicking on the hilt will perform a powerful fire attack, which consists of 2 hits and lowers the monster's MRM for the rest of the battle. It deals +50% damage and uses CHA for "Ferocious Strikes" (renamed Lucky Strikes), rather than LUK. However, using this attack will prevent the guest from acting during the turn.
Location: Yulgar's Inn -> Advanced Shop
Carnafex Blade
A great non-rare option for those who don't want to spend real money. It's a 0% proc compression weapon, and you can swap it between fire and ice at will by clicking on the blade.
Location: Stonerule -> Riona -> War of the Giants -> Part 4
Hydromancer's Bloodblade (RARE)
While it is no longer available, if you have it then it's definitely worth using. It's 0% proc and, and at the cost of only 30 HP per turn, your attacks get a damage boost of 29% (with the no-special bonus factored in).
Location: None
Kindred Spirits' Enlightenment
A fantastic weapon when used with the full Kindred set. By clicking the handle you can switch it between a +5 BTH lean and a -5 BTH lean, and by spending Tranquility Charges you can make the blade always hit for the duration of the turn.
Location: Kindred Set
Serrated Sacragon Spur
The next best option below Bloodblade, and the best non-rare F2P option. It has the same effect as Nulgath's Wrath, except it has a wider damage range of 6-58.
Location: Taladosian Set
Kaiju Killer (RARE)
One of the top melee weapons thus far. It has no special and a -5 BTH lean so it deals 15% more damage than a 20% proc weapon, and it also triggers on any monster with STR to deal 10% more damage on top of that. It has a small, consistent damage range of 29-35.
Location: None
Long Talon (RARE)
This weapon was only available from the Frostval 2016 Giftboxes, so it's permanently rare now. It's 0% proc, and you can boost its damage by a maximum of 20% through the use of Murderkillosity, which is gained by killing monsters while wearing pieces of the Windter Warrior set.
Location: None
Tempest Scimitar
A great option for builds with 200 LUK, as it increases the Lucky Strike rate by 50%. It's only 5% proc so the special is rare, but monstrously strong when it does occur.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> Rare Shop
AQxe
This is the best non-rare option, and it doesn't require spending any real money. It's 0% proc, and its damage slowly increases as the fight goes on.
Location: Guardian Tower -> Nimrod -> Quests (open to all) -> Arena of Enthusiasts (hard mode, no heals)
Divine Kusanagi Sword
A very niche option, but it does have its uses. Its damage is only 68% of that of a regular 20% proc weapon, but it never misses.
Location: Bridge to the Sky -> Imperial Regalia
Cryomancer's Bloodblade
An ice clone of Hydromancer's Bloodblade, listed in the water section.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> Rare Shop
MagnaBlade
If the above weapon isn't available to you, then this is the best option for pure damage. It has a -5 BTH lean, so it gains 6% extra damage as a result. It's 20% proc and has a 3-hit special, with a further -5 BTH lean. When wielding it you take 18% more damage, but deal 38% more damage (with the BTH lean factored in). It's also full-base weapon, with 32-32 as its damage range.
Location: Stonerule -> Riona -> War of the Giants -> Part 2
Horo-Show Void Vanquisher
The absolute best ice weapon for adventurers, and it still holds up to this day as one of the best for Guardians. It has no special and -5 BTH, so it deals 15% more damage than a 20% proc weapon. It also has a very wide damage range (6-58), so you can deal very high damage if you're lucky. To top it off, by clicking the blade you can deal Harm damage at the cost of 39 SP every turn.
Location: Twilly -> Anniversary Events -> The Dragon of Time -> BONUS
Katar of Cold
A no-proc weapon that, instead of having the normal +9% damage for not having a special, has a [# of hits that connected] / [# of hits attempted]*10.75% chance of attempting to Freeze the monster. Although it's not MC'd, it pairs well with Nezujimbo (guest) and Nilak (pet), and is a very nice weapon for Beastwarriors.
Location: Travel Map -> Sail East -> Travel South -> Haven -> Mind if I explore the town a bit? -> Click on the Town Circle -> Click on the Neko Armory (building on the extreme left) -> Basic/Advanced Shop
Giant Butcherer
Giant Butcherer is the best melee earth weapon to date. It has no special and a -5 BTH lean so it deals 15% more damage than a 20% proc weapon, and it also triggers on any monster with STR to deal 10% more damage on top of that. It has a small, consistent damage range of 29-35.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Bloodstained Morningstar Devastator
The best option for those who aren't interested in gambling away their tokens attempting to get an UltraRare box. At the end of your turn, the weapon deals a bonus hit; the damage is dependent upon how many of the previous hits connected.
Location: Morningstar Set
Info subs: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22328061
Peta Dragon Buster (Z-TOKEN)
This is a great 0% proc weapon that triggers on dragons to deal 10% more damage (19% more overall, with the no-special bonus factored in). In addition, when used against dragons it seeks among the 8 standard elements. However, when used against Drakel or Dragonkin it only deals +5% damage, and when used on any other monster it deals -5% damage, i.e. 104% total with the 0% proc bonus factored in.
Location: Valencia -> Z-Token Weapon Shop
Frogzard Sword
Another solid non-rare F2P option. It's a standard 0% proc earth weapon, but clicking on the hilt turns you into Frogzilla, a Neutral earth armor. As it's locked into earth however, it deals about 60% more damage than normal Neutral armors due to the EleComp, and also has a powerful skill which can burn the monster. However, it costs over 72 million gold, so keep that in mind.
Location: Zard Hunter's Shop -> Other Quests -> UnZardly Terror!
Star Sabre of Balance (RARE)
Though it's rare, if you already have this weapon then there is no better option. It's 0% proc so it gets +9% damage, and its MC heals 5% of the damage you deal back as SP.
Location: None
Star Sabre of Hatred
The next best option below Star Sabre of Balance, though unlike the aforementioned weapon it's permanently available in the UltraRare GGBs. Like all other Star Sabres it has no special, and its MC gives 5% extra damage (+14% in total).
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Star Sabre (SEASONAL)
A great weapon for those who need compression, that returns every year on May 4th. It has no special, and by clicking on it you can freely switch it between energy and darkness.
Location: Limited-Time Items
Star Screamer
This is the best option for those who don't want to spend money on tokens for Golden Giftboxes, or who don't already own the above options. It's a 0% proc weapon that can freely switch between melee, magic and ranged when clicked.
Location: Today's Event -> WarpForce Crossover -> WarpWars
Zealot's Wrath (PREMIUM)
This is the best light weapon to have ever been released - at least, for builds that use LUK anyway. It's 0% proc, and it deals 24% more damage than a regular 20% proc weapon (with the no-special bonus factored in). It can freely swap between melee, ranged and magic when clicked; in its ranged state it has a +5 BTH lean, but otherwise it has none. To compensate for the massively increased damage dealt however, you take 11% more damage when using the melee/ranged forms, and you take 8% more damage when using the magic form. In its melee state, your lucky strikes deal x1.5 damage. In its ranged state, your LS rate is multiplied by 1.5. In its magic state, your lucky strikes deal x1.22 damage, and your LS rate is multiplied by 1.22.
Location: 2500 Z-Token package

Location: Warlic's Shop -> Quests -> Blades of Victory
Elahi Kopesh of Osiris
Another great option; 0% proc, so it gains 9% extra damage, and it gains further damage based on your HP, dealing 10% greater damage (on top of the no-special bonus) when you're at full health.
Location: Warlic's Shop -> Mastercraft Sets -> Osiris Set
Kingdom Breaker
Kingdom Breaker works the same as GBBV, except it has a smaller, more consistent damage range. It's only available to those who bought Guardianship/Z-Tokens before 2013.
Location -> Valencia -> Visit Grumbugly -> Kingdom Breaker Shop
Heartana (SEASONAL)
A good weapon for those who prefer status effects over raw power. Heartana is a 20% proc, +5 BTH lean sword that can Control the monster with its special attack.
Location: Snugglefest
Solar Flair Staff
Already mentioned in the fire section.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> Rare Shop
Agony's Embrace
Like Zealot's Wrath, this weapon is 0% proc and deals +24% damage at the cost of you taking 11% more damage from monster attacks. However, rather than giving any boost to Lucky Strikes, it instead deals more damage based on how low your HP is.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Caladbolg
Has no special, so it deals *1.09 damage, and every turn it has a chance to make the monster bleed. If the monster is already bleeding then it deals 5% extra damage.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Soul Drinker (RARE)
Can swap between melee and magic, and has a 20% proc special that deals +25% damage. However, if your HP is below 80%, then the special does half and heals your HP for the damage done. If your HP is above 80% but your MP is below 60%, then the special does half the damage and heals your MP for damage done *1.5.
Location: None
Terror Eater (Z-TOKEN)
While mages are better off using the full Terror set, most warriors belong to the Werewolf subrace, making the armor unnecessary. You can click the handle to Eat Fear, which removes your opponent's Fear status to unleash a massively powerful attack, and by stacking Fear through Werewolf's Snarl skill, Eat Fear can do some absolutely mind-numbing damage.
Location: Travel Map -> Terror Set
ShadowWalker's Dagger of Time (PREMIUM)
If you use the ShadowWalker of Time armor and shield, you may want to consider using the weapon too. The dagger is a 0% proc weapon with a damage range of 27-37, and at the end of every turn, you have an 8.5% chance of gaining Celerity, allowing you to attack twice. When used with the armor and shield, this chance is doubled.
Location: Buy Heromart Calendar 2017 "Year of Adventure" -> Redeem code in Master Account
Greater Dark Blade of Victory
A dark element reskin of the Greater Bright Blade of Victory, and the best non-rare option for adventurers.
Location: Warlic's Shop -> Quests -> Blades of Victory
Drakath Fiend Blade
Yet another incredible dark weapon. It's a completely unremarkable 0% proc dark sword, but clicking the handle gives you the temporary Drakath Fiend Form. This armor has a skill that elelocks your attacks to dark with a 1.71145 elecomp value.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
Ultimate Dragon Scythe of Elements
This is a phenomenal weapon that compresses all 8 elements, and you can select one by clicking on one of the orbs circling the blade. In addition, you can swap the scythe between melee, ranged and magic. It has no special so it gains 9% extra damage, and it has a -3 BTH lean. However, it has a 15% damage penalty, and you take more damage when using it as well. Still, a rather small cost for such versatility.
Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop
