Principal Investigator: Madison Adolph, PhD
Madison is originally from Saskatchewan, Canada where she did her BSc in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Saskatchewan. During her time as an undergraduate researcher she discovered how exciting bench work could be and continued at the U of S for her PhD studying how APOBEC3 enzymes restricted HIV replication with Dr. Linda Chelico. As a postdoctoral fellow, she studied mechanisms of the DNA damage response with Dr. David Cortez at Vanderbilt University. Now at SLU, her lab will continue to study her favorite DNA binding proteins during DNA replication and repair. Outside of the lab, Madison is an avid hockey fan, enjoys running and trying new restaurants.
Research Assistant
Prerna Bachwani, MSc:
Prerna Bachwani ("PB"), originally from India, earned her MS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Saint Louis University (SLU). With a strong foundation in computational biology and data analysis, she worked on RNA structural analysis, workflow development, and biological data processing. She is excited to apply her experience in data interpretation and bioinformatics tools to analyze experimental results and gain deeper insights into molecular biology research. Outside of the lab, she enjoys trying new restaurants, playing video games, and cooking.
