Attendance and Billing Policy

Terms and Conditions

Students are scheduled for a weekly thirty-minute time slot. About a week before the beginning of each month, an invoice for all scheduled lessons for the month will be sent via e-mail. There is a link on the invoice offering an opportunity to pay the invoice on line, or instructions to do so via Venmo. If you prefer to pay via check, either mail it to the address on the invoice, or send it with the student for the first lesson of the month. The invoice will account for any balances or credits resulting from changes during the previous month. Reminders of invoices will be sent out after the start of the month, and prior to as of yet unpaid lessons.

I also teach through the Community Music Program through Fitchburg State University, and honor their rates for those who choose to use this structure.

Up to 24 hours prior to the time slot, you may request a time change if a conflict should arise. If rescheduling is not feasible between us, the lesson can be cancelled and credit can be given. if the lesson is cancelled inside of 24 hours, I reserve the right to charge for that lesson. I acknowledge that emergencies and illnesses arise, and I am in no hurry to charge anyone for a lesson I haven't taught, but this policy is in place to ensure we are all respectful of each other's time.

As an educator, it is important to me that we keep a steady routine. If financial considerations make this a challenge, please let me know. I am more than happy to continue to teach through any sort of fiscal difficulty, and always willing to discuss options.

If I personally need to make schedule changes, I will always post to this site and send e-mail notifications. I am also will send text messages out if you so choose.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
