LCIAA

The track and field team had an outstanding showing at the LCIAA meet and 32 athletes have qualified to compete in EOSSAA next week! Notable results were:

• Matthew Stewart was the junior male athlete of the meet, placing 1st in the 200m, 1st in high jump, and 2nd in the 100m

• Jessie Guthrie was first in the 400m hurdles, first in the 100m hurdles, and 2nd in the 200m

• Nova Holt was 1st in shot put, 1st in javelin, and 2nd in discus

• Jayla Currie was 1st in discus

• Noah Crampton was 1st in discus

• Jake Darou was 1st in the 100m

• Dan Scott was 1st in long jump

• Dylan Leonard was 1st in the 100m

• Nathaniel Lowry was 1st in the 200m

• Griffin Lee was 1st in the 400m

• Both the junior boys and senior boys 4x100 relay teams placed first

• Special shout out to the senior girl’s javelin throwers who quailed in the top 4 spots, placing first, second, third and fourth in the event!
