I have worked on several Projects while at AltSchool, Hosted and Organized several Online webinars, Twitter spaces, and check-in calls with Learners, with thousands in attendance.
I have also hosted and managed 2 different offline events. One was an in-house event for our current Learners to find out about their journey, get feedback on our products, and get to know them better. I hosted and worked on the agenda for this, also managed registration and emailing. This wasn’t just about academics; it was about community. I planned icebreakers, polls, Karaoke, and interactive sessions that gave learners space to share struggles and victories.
There were about 150+ people in Attendance, and participation was high, and many learners shared afterward that it helped them feel seen and supported. They got to meet the team in person, meet new people, and they also got energy to keep going.
I also assisted in coordinating our Annual Event in January, “Start Conference”. I managed Speakers and the agenda of the event, ensuring everyone stuck to time and made lapses for any delays. I had the opportunity to speak during the event, and I got to explain and talk about the importance of our Community. There were about 1500+ people in attendance for this.
