The Daycare unit has two classrooms, each staffed with one Early Childhood Educator and two Education Assistants. The entire team works collaboratively, coordinating activities and supporting each other (please refer to the Educational Project).
The Preschool classrooms are staffed with one Early Childhood Educator and one Education Assistant, who also work as a team, particularly during Open Classroom sessions (please refer to the Educational Project).
The arrival time at ADECO is between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. We kindly request that parents adhere to this schedule (except in necessary exceptions) to avoid disrupting classroom activities during the morning.
At the Daycare, the departure time is until 6:30 PM, and we advise parents to be mindful of the number of hours their little ones spend at school.
In Preschool, the Open Classroom takes place in the morning, starting at 9:00 AM. Preschool closes at 7:00 PM.
At ADECO, meals for children and staff are prepared daily in an on-site kitchen. Menus are posted weekly in the school entrance hall.
Extracurricular activities available to Daycare and Preschool include Music and Yoga, with schedules communicated to parents at the beginning of the school year. Preschool children also attend Gymnastics classes (at no additional cost) at the Gymnasium of the Parish Council of Misericórdia. Transportation is done on foot, in shifts, accompanied by the educational staff.
ADECO, as a non-profit association, is managed by a board composed of parents of current and former students, alumni, or community members. The board is elected every four years by community members.
Pedagogical Coordination is carried out by an Educator, elected by the pedagogical team for two-year terms.
