Addison Oaks is a county park in Leonard that has wonderful things to do and even camping. I based my yelp review mainly on the good because there's so many good things that if any are bad i kind of forget about them. My main points were about the recent Thursday where they allowed patrons to stay till 1 am because of the northern lights being able to be seen in Michigan and how wonderful the camping is. Yes I definitely do have a bias because I've been camping at Addison Oaks since I was 2 and I work there but that also gives me more insight on what the park has to offer. I also see things in different perspectives than others and everyone has different experiences so they might have different opinions about the park. My intended audience was all ages but specifically the ones that love camping and northern lights.i tailored it to highlight an aspect or two that I really enjoy and think others will too. Everyone that is reading this is seeing it after the northern lights so they won't also be able to see them but i wanted to highlight that they made the accommodation and it made a lot of people happy. The purpose of my yelp review was to showcase some of my favorite things about the park and entice more people to visit the park.i do believe that the way i structured it will show people that the park is a great place to be. I decided to not correct all of my mistakes because yelp reviews are often misspelled and have not so good grammar. I still wrote it so that it made sense but also sounded like a real person and not a robot posted it. My tone was super friend because as i mentioned before i work there and when i talk about the park my customer service voice kicks in because thats what im used to. The Yelp review format encouraged me to relax a little with my writing and not care as much as I usually would in an English class. I really feel like I learned a lot about how different genres can affect how a person views and adds or anything in general and I think that understanding will improve my writing in the future.
