Professional Communication Discipline Caucus Meeting

This session the Professional Communication Representative will provide important information from ACTAA while facilitating an opportunity for open dialog on Professional Communication-related items.

Even if your job title is not "communication" teacher, this is the area and discipline that needs the most advocacy in our organization.

Years ago, ACTAA fought to require anyone teaching Oral Communication in the state of Arkansas to have this certification. Now our Oral Communication is embedded in coursework throughout the state. As an organization, we must advocate for the importance of the skills students learn in our Personal Communication and Professional Communication courses.
