Conference Registration, Lodging, Thurs & Fri Events
Mather Lodge holds the distinction of being the only lodge built in Arkansas by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The rustic warmth of this mountain lodge built of native log and stone, combined with the natural beauty of its bluff setting overlooking rugged Cedar Creek Canyon, make this a special place for getaways and special occasions.
24 guest rooms or the park's cabins. The dining room features large windows that frame the view of Cedar Creek Canyon. The westward view across the canyon is highlighted by a dramatic sunset each evening. We have designated lodge rooms that are dog-friendly. Additional pet fees and shot records are required. Please contact us directly to book one of these rooms and with any questions.
Most of the park's cabins are near the lodge. Some are 1930s CCC/Rustic-style, and others are modern duplex designs. Choices include one-bedroom, three-bedroom, and studio cabin designs. The cabins are fully-equipped, and 21 include kitchens. Many of the cabins are spaced along the bluff of Cedar Creek Canyon.

CCC Barracks
Thursday and Friday Breakout Sessions
The CCC Barracks is not on most maps. It is located between The Visitor's Center and Mather Lodge. It is the former park ranger's home and now provides a great space for meetings. After you step into the open foyer, there is a long meeting space to the right and a small kitchen to the left. This will be a great space for our groups to caucus and have strong conversations to help further the business of ACTAA.
Pavilion B
Thursday and Friday Events, reserved for ACTAA both days
This is the enclosed pavilion a short drive from the Visitor's Center on your way to Mather Lodge. It is an enclosed pavilion, but we can open the shuttered windows and allow the breeze to come through. There is an outdoor grill for anyone to use during their stay. Just remember to bring your charcoal, lighter, and tools.
Feel free to bring a cooler and your coozies to enjoy time with your ACTAA community.
Winthrop Rockefeller Institute
Saturday, September 21st, Event Location
The Institute serves our mission through a combination of place, people, and process. One way we do this is by inviting groups to have their important meetings on our campus using our conference facilities. Our clients come from many sectors, including business, education, government, and nonprofit. Institute staff also provide facilitation services, host programs, and deliver workshops.
Enter through the main entrance, then turn left. We will be meeting in the Show Barn which is at the end of the hall to your right.

CCC Overlook on Red Bluff Drive
no planned events, but most photographed image
This is the image for this year's fall conference. When I scouted this venue for us in January, everyone told me to see the sunset or sunrise on Red Bluff Drive. Julie Rine, a former ACTAA member, joined me on a cold January morning to take in this vista. If you have a moment while you're here, take a drive with friends in a vehicle that can handle a dusty, bumpy dirt road. You won't be disappointed!
