WHAT IS THE SUPREME SECONDARY LEARNER GOVERNMENT?
The ACNSTHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government is the highest governing body of students, established in 2016. It is mandated under the Revised Constitution and Bylaws of the SELG/SSLG, pursuant to DepEd Field Operations Memorandum titled "Interim Guidelines of the Learner Government Program." Thus, with the school's mantra "Aim High, Dream High, AnSci," the Supreme Student Government is committed to serving each AnScian with joy, honesty, and care.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Executive Committee shall be headed by the President and shall consist of all officers of the Secondary Learner Government. This committee shall act as the administrative arm of the Secondary Learner Government.
INTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

The Internal Affairs Committee shall be headed by the Vice President and shall consist of all officers and members of the Secondary Learner Government. This committee shall take charge of all the matters regarding the members of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government and their functions.
EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

This committee shall be responsible for the crafting of the organization’s community service for the school year. This shall take charge of establishing partnerships and communication with other organizations and schools outside ACNSTHS.
SECRETARIAT COMMITTEE

This committee shall be the official Supreme Secondary Learner Government work through ensuring:
8.1 meetings are effectively organized and minuted;
8.2 Project, programs, and activities sequence are properly documented;
8.3 Picture documentation/s in PPAs and meetings is properly collected and organized to serve as Means of Verification in different PPAs conducted by the Student Government; and
8.4 Accomplish all records and documents of the SSLG in time and keep them on Google Drive managed by the SSLG.
FINANCE COMMITTEE

This committee shall take charge of all monetary matters and properties of Supreme Secondary Learner Government. This committee can also propose funds/fundraising events to the Student Government meetings whenever a project, program, or activity needs to be funded.
PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE

This committee shall:
10.1. Be responsible for disseminating information on matters concerning the learner body, the school, and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government;
10.2. Promote all activities or events of the SSLG according to the General Plan of Action (GPOA) and other DepEd & school mandated programs;
10.3. Be responsible in maintaining the Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Gmail, Website, and other social media accounts of the Secondary Learner Government;
10.4. Be in charge of graphic designs and contents for the official posts/publications of Secondary Learner Government; and
10.5. Maintain the credibility and the image of the Secondary Learner Government.
LEARNERS' WELFARE COMMITTEE

This committee shall look after the rights of the students and act upon their complaints. This committee will also manage all grievancedesks led by Grade Level Representatives, as well as the online and physical grievance and suggestion forms, and will make recommendations to SSLG official meetings and sessions. This committee is also tasked with maintaining peace and order within the meetings and sessions of the Student Government and within the premises of the school campus.
GENDER & DEVELOPMENT (GAD) COMMITTEE

This committee shall:
12.1. Promote inclusive education, gender equality, and non-discrimination on the internet and in school;
12.2. Safeguard all students against all types of gender-based violence, abuse, discrimination, and bullying in schools, with the assistance of the Learners’ Welfare Committee;
12.3. Create and suggest frameworks, policies, and programs that encourage involvement by people of all genders and gender equality among men, women, and the LGBT community;
12.4. Assess the implications of any planned actions of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government to ensure that all learners are included and are not discriminated;
12.5. Develop awareness of gender equality through capacity building in accordance with DepEd Order 32, s. 2017, 1987 Philippine Constitution, Republic Act 9710, Republic Act 10553, and the Philippines’ International Human Rights Commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
12.6. Create a healthy work environment and a wellness culture by coordinating and assisting the parent-teacher association and the school administration.
PROJECT PLANNING COMMITTEE

Through constructive ideas and strategies, this committee shall provide input and support in the progress of the SSLG's programs/projects/activities aligned with the four core values of the Department of Education; coordinate tasks with other committees; monitor timelines and risks; and define priorities and objective to achieve success and positive outcomes.
MONITORING AND EVALUATIONS COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible for crafting the monitoring and evaluation forms for each program the Secondary Learner Government implements. This committee will compile and evaluate the feedback from the learners and audience that was gathered on the evaluation forms. This committee is responsible for reviewing the monitoring and evaluation report and submitting its findings to the project planning committee for consideration in developing and improving the program in the future.
TECHNICAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

This committee shall spearhead the set-up and use of sound and visual equipment for the programs, projects, and activities conducted by SSLG. This committee shall also manage to borrow sound system equipment from the supply room. Moreso, in case a virtual program is needed, this committee shall also lead the organization in holding livestreamings.
