BRIEF HISTORY
Antipolo City National Science and Technology High School, commonly known as ACNSTHS, AnSci, or AnSciTechHS, is a public science and technology high school in Sitio Cabading, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City. It is an educational institution offering secondary education with intensive English, science, mathematics, and research curricula for Grades 7 to 12. Moreover, the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand was offered to senior high school students at the school.
The school started its operations for the school year 2014–2015 temporarily located at Antipolo National High School. The operations were managed by Ms. Adelaida A. San Diego, Principal IV of Antipolo National High School, was composed of 10 teachers and 91 students. The establishment of ACNSTHS was made official when House Bill 4366, proposed by Representatives Roberto V. Puno and Romeo M. Acop, was passed and became law through Republic Act 10875 on July 17, 2016.
On October 16, 2016, during the school year 2015-2016, the school officially transferred to its current site inside the Antipolo City Government Center located at Sitio Cabading, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City. The school utilizes the completed one (1) Ynares one-storey building and one (1) two-storey building, which will be occupied by six sections of grades 7 and 8 and the school faculty.
As the school transferred to its current site, Mrs. Esperanza L. Mandal was designated to become the school’s teacher-in-charge. At the start of the school year 2021–2022, Mrs. Rosanna A. Ortiz, Principal I, was designated as the new school head. Currently, the school also occupies two (2) three-storey Ynares-type buildings, one (1) covered court, and one (1) school canteen. ACNSTHS is now composed of 1 principal, 37 teaching staff, 4 non-teaching staff, 424 junior high school students, and 141 senior high school students.
