Intent
In this activity, students will be able to use mc cable to rough in a switch, light and receptacle into a mock-up wall.

Read a simple blueprint
Use knowledge from prior lessons to properly utilize hand and power tools with in a safe and efficient way.

Proper PPE
Tape measure
MC Cable Strippers
Torpedo Level

Slotted and Phillips screwdriver

Instructor will:
Emphasize safety and check for proper PPE throughout the process
Demonstrate how to read a blueprint (Blueprint A)
Demonstrate how to use MC cable strippers
Review power tool safety
Demonstrate how to follow the blueprint to rough in a wall with a switch, light and a receptacle
Students will:
