What is ProStart?
ProStart is a four-day orientation for new Ace employees that consist of both classroom instruction and hands-on training. ProStart is basically an Electrical Trade 101 Boot Camp.
Why is Pro-Start Important?
Because Employee Safety is our #1 initiative at Ace Electric.
Employees are taught basic skills to be more productive on the first day on the job.
Employees are educated on their career pathway within Ace/the industry and the requirements to meet personal goals for career progression.

Prostart Teaching Strategy
“I do it, we do it, you do it,” is a model that proposes a plan of instruction that includes demonstration, prompt, and practice. Example below
"I Do"
At the beginning of the conduit bending lesson, the instructor has a prominent role in the delivery of the content.
"We Do"
In the “We do” phase of conduit bending lesson, the teacher continues to model, question, prompt and cue students.
"You Do"
As student moves into the “You do” phase of the conduit bending lesson, they rely more on themselves and less on the teacher to complete the learning task
