NO NEW FENCE at Prospectors Ridge Park (next to Georgia O’Keefe Elementary School)
From Tony Sparks, APS Facilities:
“I have confirmed that Prospectors Ridge Park adjacent to Georgia O’Keeffe ES is City property, and APS will not be fencing off any portion of it. Also, I learned that where we have actual Joint Use Agreements with the City, those parks are closed off to the public during the school day, but re-open to the public on afternoons and weekends. Only fields within the actual boundaries of a school campus are not available for public use.”

While this is a nation-wide event, we use it as an excuse to meet and greet our neighbors. There’s nothing formal happening but we’ll bring put out some chairs and maybe a canopy or two to sit and visit with anyone who like to come by. Please come join us! Fall Party: Sunday, Sept. 27, 3:00-5:00pm in the alley between 11232 and 11300 Academy Ridge Roads
This is our happy time! There’s no business conducted, it’s just a bunch of your neighbors who enjoy getting together to renew old acquaintances and meet new folks. We’ll provide waters and possibly some light refreshments so please stop by and say hello! We'll post the location here as soon as it's been decided.
Please help ARENA! If you haven't already done so, please consider supporting us with a voluntary $20 annual contribution. Our only purpose is to keep this neighborhood an attractive and welcoming place to live and we need your help to keep doing that. Your annual contribution can also be sent using ARENA87111@gmail.com via your bank's Zelle transfer application. It only takes 5 minutes to setup a Zelle account and add the ARENA email as a recipient.

Short-term Rental Hotline: call 505-465-7710 to report a problem with a residence you suspect may be a short-term rental (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.). They can investigate to make sure the property is correctly registered with the city and send a code enforcement agent to investigate.

About Us: We are a neighborhood association of 300+ homes and our only purpose is to keep our neighborhood an attractive place to live. We have 2 meetings each year; an official meeting in the Spring for business and board member elections, and one in late summer/early fall as a way to get to know our neighbors. We also promote a neighborhood-wide garage sale as well as other events. We ask residents to contribute $20 yearly to help pay for weed control in our medians, the printing of the postcard we normally send out twice a year, this website, our post office box, the advertising for our neighborhood-wide garage sale, our annual fall get-together, and more.
