Homework and all the fun things we did in class each week can be found below!
Science (Mrs. Brophy)
In Class Today:
In AA science today, we read and learned about plants that grow in the polar regions. We began an experiment with celery and colored water to demonstrate how the Xylem in plants draw up water from the soil. We illustrated and wrote science terms in our journals to show how osmosis and transpiration work in plants to provide them with water.

Language Arts (Mrs. Brophy)
In Class Today:
In language arts, we continued our story writing emphasizing how the plot in “How mosquitos buzz in peoples ears” built up to a climax that needed resolving. We thought of our own characters and plot and drew illustrations and will write accompanying text next week to finish.
