Challenging Academics
We offer challenging academics in an engaging learning environment for San Luis Coastal Unified School District students in grades four through six. We teach district adopted core curriculum in reading, writing and mathematics in a condensed time frame, or through integrated units, providing an academically rigorous environment for students who are ready for more, deeper, broader exploration of content and supplementary studies.

Read ~ Write ~ Research ~ Present
Integrated units provide students with opportunities to dive deeply into curricular studies to answer essential questions. Students read, write, research and collaborate to create presentations that include models, multi-media, and interactive experiences to demonstrate their learning. Students have opportunities to present to an authentic audience.
Our Progress

California Distinguished School 2018 ~ 2018 National Blue Ribbon School
Teach School earned recognition as a California Distinguished School in 2010, 2014, and again in 2018, and as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1992, 2012 and 2018. Our data supports our student success and Teach alumni are eager to share how their Teach experience made all the difference to their success.
