The purpose of this Workshop on Organizational Plasticity: An Agent-Based Modeling Symposium is to explore the processes and practices of de-structuring organizations. The use of computational simulations alone and in combination with empirical data is very welcome.

To deal with this challenging objective, the workshop welcomes contributions from any discipline, including but not limited to psychology, sociology, management, computer science, cognitive science, decision science, language, artificial intelligence, economics, philosophy. Submissions may range from empirical investigations to theoretical and philosophical perspectives.

A journal special issue will be hosted by the journal Evidence-Based Human Resource Management featuring a selection of papers.

Special Issue

A selection of studies presented at the workshop will be published in a Special Issue, hosted by the journal Evidence-Based Human Resource Management. This is a promising new journal, currently in its fifth volume, that publishes on a wide range of topics and is especially interested in new research methods in HRM.

More information on the Special Issue will be provided during the workshop, but we can anticipate that full papers are expected by April 15, 2018. You can also check this section of the website.
