POSTER SLOGAN
POSTER SLOGAN
Aguilar, Mariel C.
For this project, I created a poster slogan to promote the rich art and culture of my mother’s hometown — Antique, in Region VI, Westernj Visayas. I chose Antique because even though it’s not where I currently live, it holds a special place in my heart through my family roots. I wanted to honor that connection and share the beauty of its traditions with others.
In my artwork, I featured traditional crafts such as woven baskets and pottery to highlight the creativity and craftsmanship of the local people. I also included patadyong (a traditional woven cloth) and the Binirayan Festival, which is one of the province’s most vibrant cultural celebrations. The bold colors and joyful figures represent the warmth, pride, and spirit of Antiqueños.
The slogan I created, “A Culture to Explore and Embrace,” speaks not only to outsiders but also to Filipinos like me who may not know much about the heritage of places like Antique. It’s an invitation to be curious, to appreciate, and to take pride in the diversity of our culture.
Making this poster helped me reflect on how art can be a powerful tool for cultural preservation and promotion. It also deepened my appreciation for my family’s roots and reminded me that identity goes beyond where you live, it includes where you come from, and the stories passed down through generations.
Alayon, Young Solan
This represents my pride for our place, Cavite. Bacoor has a rich history, cultural legacy, and thriving community. It emphasizes the city's unique identity and pride, highlighting notable accomplishments and traits that distinguish it from other cities. While drawing this, I thought of the people I've met in Cavite, and that's where I realized that not everyone has bad intentions; some have good hearts and genuinely want to be friends. I've learned that people have varying intentions, and it's up to us to decide how we react or judge their behavior. As I meet more people, I'll encounter those with similar intentions as mine, and it's up to us to choose who we befriend.
Ambrad, Juliana Cassandra S.
As I worked on it, I find how beautiful and important our culture is. The butterfly is a symbol of the Dasmariñas festival and stands for growth, freedom, and transformation between the city and its people. The artwork combines traditional and modern aspects, including recognized landmarks and the local community. It made me feel more connected to where I live and reminded me that celebrating our roots is just as important as looking toward the future. Through this, I did not just make a poster, I got to express pride in being part of Dasmariñas.
Aquino, Mark Gabriel G.
The goal of using visual symbols to convey General Santos City's distinct personality served as the inspiration for this piece of art. Each component was purposefully chosen to symbolize distinct facets of the city's personality, such as its social vibrancy, cultural pride, and economic power. This project illustrates how the visual arts may be used as an instrument for cultural advocacy and documentation from an academic standpoint. The ability of visual art to convey complex tales and identities is demonstrated by the incorporation of prominent local symbols (such as boxing and tuna) with joyful imagery and geographic aspects.
Balute, Sharmane
While making this drawing, I wanted to show the pride and identity of Cavite as a province rich in history and strong in unity. The buildings represent Cavite’s historical heritage, while the jeepney symbolizes Filipino culture and everyday life. Using bold colors like red, blue, and yellow reminded me of the national flag, showing patriotism and unity. As I worked on it, I felt more connected to the places I included like Bacoor and Tanza and realized how each town contributes to the strength and beauty of Cavite.
Cahilig, Denver U.
Towering in glory is Mayon Volcano, famed for its perfect cone shape and plume of smoke, which suggests that activity is always present in the Bicol landscape. Vividly presents the soul of Bicol while unveiling its most famous potential draw, the natural and artificial sites.
Carreon, Jorge P.
For this project, I created a poster slogan to promote my mother’s hometown — in Tuguegarao, Cagayan because there’s so many place to visit there, and one of the famous tourist place is “Lapi falls” like I said in my slogan, that it is an islands and valley of fun because you can find yourself having fun there while experiencing the beautiful place. It is a special place for me because, I wanted to share the beauty of its traditions with others. Through my artwork, I featured one boy looking and staying at the rock because I myself does this when I go to this place. To highlight my creativity I always use the natural color of the place to know what it is when you imagine it. By doing this artwork, I always think of going back to the place where I once belong and experience again the beauty of life while thinking also about my memories.

This poster slogan features the "Woodcarving Capital of the Philippines", Paete, Laguna. I don't have a province to go home to so I chose a neighbouring municapality here in CALABARZON. I actually didn't know that PAete, Laguna held such a title until it was mentioned in a topic in this subject. It really caught my eye because I have always been fascinated by woodcarving. It has always been so admirable for me and it is one of the many art forms I want to learn.
This artwork features a woodcarving background consisting of a bahay kubo and trees. This is heavily inspired by how woodcarvings in Paete, Laguna are often made in the image of nature. I have chosen the slogan "Chiseling visions into reality" because I believe it fits the subject a lot. Through woodcarving, people are able to create imaged and visions and bring them all to life. it is a wonderful aspect of not just woodcarving, but art in general as well.
Dela Cruz, Cyrhil May A.
Another challenging PETA. Art is not my forte and it will never be but I tried my best just to have that good outcome. This PETA made me say "ayoko na makita, pikit mata nalang" because I do not know how I am going to survive this PETA at all. The idea is clear but turned out bad still, I really tried. As much as I do not want to continue this, I have to.

This piece showcases the diverse cultures and art forms from CALABARZON, highlighting everything from Cavite’s unique baby buses to the stunning landscapes of Quezon. Every form of art deserves appreciation, whether or not in museums. Each artwork is not just a piece; it is a masterpiece that tells a story. As individuals, we should celebrate the beauty of our region, as it is both enjoyable and mesmerizing to experience the art.
Creating this artwork was challenging due to the difficulty of blending various elements. However, I was able tof inish it beautifully, even though the process took a long time. Despite not being an artist, I had a lot of fun while making that piece. I also learned about the unique types of art found in CALABARZON, which brought me joy. Not only did I truly enjoy the experience, but it was also my first time receiving a perfect score on a poster slogan. I am grateful, as I can see that my drawing skills have improved more than ever.
Estrada, John Daryl N.
I Chose Pangasinan because it’s my mothers Homeland. As you can see, It shows so much of what makes the province special, from the volcano and lighthouse to the fields, carabaos, and city buildings. It’s like a full picture of life in Pangasinan, where nature, tradition, and progress all come together.
What really stood out to me is the farmer working in the field. It reminds me how hardworking down-to-earth the people in the province are. And even though times are changing, and cities are growing, we still hold on to our roots. The artwork feels alive, colorful and full of stories.
For me, this drawing is more than just nice to look at. It’s a reminder of home, of community, and of how beautiful it is to be connected to both nature and culture. Pangasinan isn’t just a place—it’s a feeling.
Eugenio, Charles
I'm proud of myself for making a poster of my hometown.
Faurillo, Trisha Mae A.
The Pintados Festival in Tacloban is a cultural-religious celebration. The central figure wearing a bold and traditional mask that reflects the warrior spirit and heritage of the early Visayan people. My work combines with artistic expression and cultural storytelling. “Celebrating Culture and Heritage, Experience the Art of Pintados of Tacloban” serves as a reminder not just for me but to other people who saw this to preserve and participate in our traditions to show cultural appreciation. Doing this artwork helped me to explore the art of our province and know the story of our ancestors, their bravery and their artistry.
Gumban, Claire Justine
This drawing shows the island of Mindanao in bright colors with the words, "We just want a peaceful provincial life." You can see two people wearing traditional clothing, a colorful boat, a bird, a durian fruit, and trees. All of these symbols represent the indigenous communities of Mindanao, its nature, and its desire for peace and respect.
I drew this, there are probably many beautiful landscapes in the Philippines. But one in Mindanao is where I want to go, where my father came from. I also see here the beautiful landscape I want that seems to calm my mind.
Javier, Angelica Marie
I feel so proud to be able to showcase the festival in my hometown through art.
Labastida, Divinen Cris
Cavite, a province in the Philippines, is steeped in history, having been a key location during the Spanish colonial period and the Philippine Revolution. This historical legacy is preserved in its architecture, cultural traditions, and landmarks like Fort San Felipe. At the same time, Cavite is also a dynamic modern region, known for its industrial growth, vibrant economy, and progressive urban areas such as Imus and Bacoor.osition of old and new creates a unique environment where tradition and innovation coexist, making Cavite a fascinating place to explore both its past and its present.
Morales, Jericho G.
What I chose to create the poster slogan was Taal Volcano because it has many historical pieces and it is close to the province of Batangas.
Patriarca, Dice Andrew C.
This artwork blends tradition and creativity, showing how culture shapes expression. The warm colors and message remind me that our heritage fuels who we are and how we create.
Pimentel, Steven Jhon Christian
At first glance, the slogan “Davao” is striking in its simplicity but within that single word lies a depth of meaning that goes far beyond geography. It doesn’t need embellishment. Just saying “Davao” evokes a sense of identity, pride, and connection. It speaks to a city that stands on its own—rich in culture, rooted in resilience, and proud of its people.
This one-word slogan invites reflection on what Davao truly represents. It’s not just a place on the map; it’s a feeling. It’s the calm of Mt. Apo’s silhouette at sunrise, the vibrant buzz of Kadayawan festivities, the warmth of community, and the quiet strength that runs through its history. "Davao" is both a destination and a declaration of peace, progress, and promise.
In its simplicity, the slogan challenges us to look deeper and ask: what does Davao mean to me? To each person, the answer may be different but for all, it is something proud and enduring.
Rafol, Jazmine M.
As Ma'am Nareth announced our next PETA (which is this output), it was the only time I truly felt creative. I brainstormed all my ideas and incorporated them into my masterpiece—maybe because my inspiration was my hometown, Quezon Province.
I included my favorite tourist spot: the Quezon Memorial Shrine; a famous church: San Luis Obispo de Tolosa Parish Church in Lucban; one of the most beloved forms of traditional transportation: the jeepney; and my favorite local foods: budin, minukmok, nilupak, and pancit hab-hab. As I slowly completed each part, I felt happy, motivated, passionate, and dedicated.I think it's a natural feeling when you're drawing your hometown—it just feels right, like you want to visit again.
As I finished it, I expressed my thoughts as a proud Quezonian. I am proud to be one because of our unique culture, traditional foods and transportation, and rich history.
Sagenes, Joshua D.
This poster slogan illustrates the pride of Cavite in particular the Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine. The word “Proud Caviteño!” makes us recall the love that we Caviteños have for our history and culture. The shrine is special because the Philippine independence was proclaimed in that place. The combination of bright colors and Philippine flags helps to foster the spirit of enthusiasm and patriotism in the poster. This poster slogan reminds me about the importance of our roots and the people who fought for us to have a life worthy of living. It further exemplifies the affection for the hometown that one has through artistry. Being a Filipino, I value and express my gratitude to the gallant men and women of this country who courageously stood in the frontline to defend our freedom.

Creating a poster slogan to promote the rich and diverse art of the CALABARZON Region was both exciting and challenging. My goal was to capture the unique spirit of the region’s cultural treasures, Rizal Park, the Higantes Festival, Laguna’s Dreamcatchers, and the Batangas Buli Basket. At first, it was difficult to combine all these elements in a way that felt connected and meaningful. Knowing that art isn’t exactly my strong suit, I still pushed myself to do my best. I focused on making my poster as decent and creative as possible, something that could proudly represent the craftsmanship and culture of CALABARZON.
Sy, Lyka Deniesh L.
My poster features a slogan that highlights the region of Calabarzon. Each drawing represents one of the five provinces: Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon. Although it was challenging to create these drawings, I ultimately learned new things and improved my drawing skills.
Tayag, Shekinah Rose B.
Pampanga was my chosen province for the poster slogan; it is where part of my family’s father side resides in. And I got to create a lot of beautiful memories there when I was young, the cuisines and events that happens there was very fun and great. The parol, church, and hot air balloon is one of things Pampanga is known for, where you’ll see different colorful parol there whenever Christmas is near, the beautiful church where I used to go to when I was young, and colourful big hot air balloons. These are the things I have incorporated in my poster slogan that describes the province that I picked.
Vacalares, Prince
Creating a poster slogan for the CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region) in the Philippines is a great opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness of the region its people, culture, landscapes, and history.
The right slogan will depend on the exact focus—whether it’s tourism, cultural pride, or environmental sustainability. But in any case, these slogans aim to highlight the unique qualities of CAR and the deep connection between the people and their stunning natural surroundings.
In essence, the act of creating a poster slogan about a one of the region in the Philippines is about crafting something that speaks directly to people, something that captures a complex idea in a form so simple and memorable that it sticks with them long after they’ve seen it. The process combines creativity, strategy, and emotional intelligence, and the result can be incredibly impactful when done right.
