GROUP 1
AGUILAR, MARIEL C.
For this performance task, our group chose to create and perform our own original poem. We wanted to express our genuine thoughts, emotions, and perspectives through words we crafted ourselves. Writing the poem from scratch gave us the freedom to speak from the heart and make sure every line reflected something meaningful to us.
The process was both creative and collaborative. We brainstormed ideas, wrote drafts, and edited together until we came up with a poem that felt honest and powerful. It wasn’t always easy, choosing the right words, deciding on the flow, and making sure the emotions came through clearly took a lot of time and teamwork. But it was worth it.
Performing the poem was another challenge. We had to think about how to deliver each line, the tone, pacing, movement, and expression, to bring the words to life and connect with our audience.
Creating this poem helped me realize how powerful words can be, especially when they come from within. I’m proud of what we made, and how we worked together to turn our ideas into art. This experience not only improved my creative and performance skills, but it also gave me a deeper appreciation for the power of original expression in contemporary art.
CAMOCA, JANE LAWRRAINE K.
The poem about Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao made me realize how beautiful and special each part of the Philippines is. Luzon has heroes and history, Visayas is full of festivals and happy people, and Mindanao has rich nature and strong culture. I liked how the poem showed that even if we come from different islands, we are still one country
ESTRADA, JOHN DARYL N.
Reading the poet “Pilipinas, ano ang lihim ng yaman mo?” made me feel proud to be Filipino. Each line reminded me of how beautiful and rich our country really is, not just with natural wonders like Mayon, Chocolate Hills, or our beaches, but with the culture, stories, and kindness of our people.
What I love most about the poet is how it shows that every region. Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao has something special. The festivals, songs, dances, and even the simple warmth of the people are all treasures we sometimes forget to notice. It made me think that our real wealth isn't gold or money, but our history, traditions, and the joy we carry as a nation.
This poem is more than just describing places, it feels like a love letter to the Philippines. And after reading it, I feel even more grateful and proud to call this country my home.
GUMBAN, CLAIRE JUSTINE
In the song we made that shows the beautiful scenery, we can see that the world has a pleasant and attractive environment. If you look at it, you will want to come here to visit, through our singing, it shares the beauty of the Philippines, the kind that can give us peace just by looking at it.
so, let's go everyone, let's listen!
SAGENES, JOSHUA D.
As we made this project, I realized a lot of things about our country, specifically to the other regions. While we’re making this, I discover a lot of different cultures and beautiful things for each of region that involve in this poem. I realized that making this kind of activity, I would be able to discover a lot of beautiful sceneries and places where people are embracing the treasure of their region.
VACALARES, PRINCE
The poem is all about the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao culture. Poetry, in its essence, has a way of distilling complex human experiences into a few carefully chosen words. When I read a poem, I find that I am not merely analyzing language or structure, but engaging with the emotions and ideas that are often too subtle for everyday conversation. In many ways, poetry offers a glimpse into the poet’s inner world, but it also invites me to reflect on my own.
The beauty of the poem was in its simplicity. At first, the words seemed almost light, almost wistful. But as I delved deeper, I realized that there was a subtle heaviness beneath the surface—a sense of urgency in the way the poet described time passing. It was as though I was being urged to live more consciously, to be more present in the moment instead of constantly looking ahead or dwelling on the past.
I also found myself reflecting on the poet’s message about change. The poem depicted the process of transformation as something both inevitable and beautiful. It didn’t shy away from the difficulty of change, but it embraced it as part of the larger human experience. This made me think about how we often resist change, even though it is what propels us forward, helping us grow, adapt, and ultimately become the people we are meant to be.
This reflection touches on some universal themes—time, change, and the beauty of fleeting moments. If you have a specific poem in mind, feel free to share it, and I can tailor the reflection more closely to its themes and content.
GROUP 2
DE LEON, JADE ARACELI V.
Initially, I really wanted to push for making a song, so much so that I wanted to go solo just so I can do it myself. I really don't like "mema pasa / pasang-awa" outputs especially if its arts related, but we had to resort to something more simpler in the end. This poem promotes awareness and love towards our own culture and arts from the regions. It included 3 regions which are Cordillera, Central Visayas, and Davao. It primary implies that we should take pride in the colorful and rich arts of our country.
The creation of this poem was a bit of a hassle because I couldn't get into it. In general, I like writing poems and I believe I can write them well and quickly but I had a hard time with this one. I wanted to incorporate as much as possible, including samples and inspiring words. Overall, it went well and I am satisfied with our output. My groupmates did a great job with no hassle despite us only being three.
FAURILLO, TRISHA MAE A.
This poem talks about the diverse regional arts found across the Philippines. From majestic Cordillera mountains to Davao Region, it highlights the unique crafts and music that define each area. From the Kanayi and Talugong in Cagayan Valley to the musical legacy of Visayas and the colorful heritage of Mindanao. The poem reminds us that art is not only about “creativity” but a product of culture and history. It encourages us to appreciate and embrace the beauty of our own roots.
JAVIER, ANGELICA MARIE
I have come to see that we can show the beauty of nature and culture in many simple but wonderful ways.

From culture to culture we share and spire creating a tapestry that never tires. Different regions unite in one heart, celebrate with joy and the beauty of heart. In Philippines there are so many choices you want to go, there are place of Philippines that make you feel different. There are many culture you discover that lead you to explore more in Philippines. Philippines is known for its rich and diverse culture and traditions. Through out this video i just learned and discovered that us Filipino people are known as settlers in many parts of the world. They are like the chameleon who easily adapts to different environments. We thrive to survive. Survival of the fittest is their banner. The Philippines is a country that has varied cultural influences. Most of these influences are results of previous colonization, deriving mainly from the culture of Spain and the United States. Despite all of these influences, the old Asian culture of Filipinos has been retained and are clearly seen in their way of life, beliefs and customs. Wherever you go, Filipino culture is very evident and has largely been appreciated and even applauded in many parts of theworld.
DE LOS SANTOS, LUISE GRACE F.
Our group created a poem about the arts found in the CALABARZON, NCR, and Bicol region. We shared our ideas on our group chat, searched for the arts that could be found in those regions, and organized the stanzas together. Even in a short period, we were able to finish it on time. While researching the specific art forms from these areas, I was mesmerized by the variety and beauty I discovered. I realized how little I had explored these regions, and although I had seen many beautiful artworks online, I had never seen those in person. Each region possesses unique qualities and beauty that cannot be found elsewhere, and this experience deepened my appreciation for these cultural treasures. I hope to see these artistic expressions in real life someday.

SY, LYKA DENIESH L.
My group and I decided to express ourselves through poetry to showcase the rich culture and stunning beauty of the Philippines. We learned about Philippine history and traditions, gathering inspiration from various sources for our poems. Working together was a collaborative experience. We exchanged ideas and provided feedback, each bringing our unique talents to the process. We experimented with different poetic forms, focusing on rhythm, rhyme, and imagery to effectively express our themes. We incorporated symbols from Philippine folklore and history to add depth to our work. Writing my poems was an emotional journey. I focused on choosing words that reflected my feelings and conveyed pride in my heritage. I aimed to capture the spirit of the Philippines—its resilience, warmth, and hope—in every line. The writing process involved many revisions, and I worked hard to ensure my poems resonated with both my personal experiences and broader meanings. Ultimately, I created a collection of poems that truly reflects the beauty of my country and the power of poetry to connect us to our roots.

DELA CRUZ, CYRHIL MAY A.
This poem is about what the region has to offer to the world showing the beauty of each city from their culture, place and foods. The beauty of continuously taking care of people throughout the years may help to preserve the story behind the culture of each city or region. In this poem, it tackles the background story and information where the region is known to have such as Calabarzon, NCR and Ilocos Norte.
Before making the poem, we researched information from different regions and the cities. Places, foods and culture are the most important and known in every city. We searched about the bow they preserve and celebrate their culture that they have been doing for decades to be able to remember their story and what they are proud of.

Every region has an art to offer.
GROUP 5
AMBRAD, JULIANA CASSANDRA S.
"The Art Within Us" expresses the heart of Filipino creativity and culture. It reminded me that art is more than simply what we see in galleries or museums; it exists in our daily lives. Filipino art reflects our identity strongly, from the lively festivals in the provinces to the detailed weaving of indigenous groups and the passionate lyrics of our local music. One of the poem's greatest meanings is that art is part of our history and hardships. It stands for not only beauty, but also our strength, passion, and connection to the community. Filipinos have always used art, whether it be dance, painting, music, or literature, to express culture, and resilience.
CARREON, JORGE P.
This video of a poem is written in different perspectives of what is the country’s art for them, each members write their ideas using poem of what is art within us in the Philippines. The collaboration on making this masterpiece helps us also to understand the beauty of each different areas in our country. Like what the video said, “In every corner of our land there’s an art that is truly grand” and also more to offer which even the foreigners are keeps on going back because “It is more fun in Phillipines”. Based on my perspective, I always been so proud on what is our country’s can offer because there’s so many arts hiding in different areas of our country, there’s also different arts that you can’t imagine an artist can do which I am so very proud as an artist itself. I appreciate everything in our country that’s why we must “ Love the Philippines”.
PATRIARCA, DICE ANDREW C.
The art within us, beautifully represented the diverse forms of art in the Philippines. It had a calming tone with deep meaning, and we all enjoyed expressing it through poetry.
SAMANTILLA, DANIELLE A.
Working together as a group to create an original poem that celebrates the diverse art forms from different regions of the Philippines was both a meaningful and enjoyable experience. Especially the part when we were filming for it, since the location of our filming place was near the fountain in SM Bacoor, we had to retake many times, since the water in the fountain kept hitting us, and it was a funny experience. Overall, it was fun making this Poem.
TAYAG, SHEKINAH ROSE B.
The poem that our group created which was “The art within us” depicted the different art represented in various ways in the Philippines. This poem was calming yet has a very great meaning to it, which every one of us were able to express it in a poem type of way. I liked the music that we have also used for our poem. This was a fun one to do because of many funny things that happened during the process of writing the poem. And also, the many retakes that we have to do for our individual shots because of how we are laughing before doing a great individual video.
