Community Guidelines: Able to Love
At Able to Love, we help disabled and able-bodied people to forge genuine connections in a respectful, kind and safe environment. These guidelines ensure that our community remains welcoming to all. Breaking them may result in a warning, suspension or permanent ban.
Be respectful. Treat everyone with kindness and dignity. Disability is an integral part of someone's identity; it is neither a fetish nor a subject of pity or mockery. There is to be no hate speech, slurs or discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of disability, race, religion, gender, sexuality or background.
Be real: use recent photos that genuinely represent you. Be honest about your age, identity and intentions. Do not impersonate anyone or create fake profiles.
Be safe. Never share another person's private information. Do not harass, threaten, stalk or pressure anyone. Keep conversations consensual and respectful. Do not send unsolicited explicit content. Never ask other users for money and report anyone who asks you.
Keep it appropriate: no nudity or sexually explicit images in profile photos. Do not promote violence, self-harm, illegal activity or hate. No spam or advertising.
Look out for each other. Use the Report and Block tools if someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks the rules. Visit the Safety Centre in the app for safety tips before meeting anyone in person. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Our commitment We review reports and take action to keep the community safe. We want Able to Love to be a place where everyone — disabled and able-bodied alike — can feel respected, safe, and free to find love.
Thank you for helping us to create a kinder dating community.
