Brianna Strickland, B.Mus, B.ed

Ms. Strickland holds a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She specialized in wind band and vocal performance, and strives to bring music to life in all her classes! She has spent many years studying different conducting techniques, and has taken part in several conducting programs and workshops. She has numerous years of experience in choir, band, and musical theatre productions.

Ms. Strickland has performed with numerous choirs throughout Alberta and has competed in several Alberta music festivals. She has sung with the Grande Prairie Regional College Concert Choir, the University of Alberta Madrigal Singers, Korora, Alberta Youth Choir 2019, Alberta Treble Choir 2022, and Alberta Youth Choir 2022. Throughout her years with choral groups she has performed alongside the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra many times.

Teaching has always been an important part of Ms. Strickland's music career. For many years she has taught group music lessons as well as individual flute, piano, voice, and music theory lessons. The ABJ Fine Arts program is a welcoming and safe space for all students, where students can explore their passions. Welcome to the family!
