Abington Public Library is a member of the Old Colony Library Network which allows all its members to access resources from the other member libraries.
Massachusetts residents can get a full service Boston Public Library card. To become a registered borrower, apply at BPL locations and furnish photo identification which includes your name, present address, and has your signature. Tip: Get a jump start by registering for an eCardnow. You can use it to access many things online and it will be easier to upgrade to a full card later! There are many great resources at this library that you can access digitally.

Audiobook Sync is a program offering free digital audiobooks for teens 13+ using the Overdrive app. Their summer program offers 2 paired titles released each week. You can download them with the Overdrive app and listen when you can but you must download it before the week is over or you can no longer access it.
E-Book Libraries
The Old Colony Library Network has a “Virtual Branch” website with a collection of eBooks for all borrowers. Within this collection there are also eBooks which are only visible and accessible to Abington users through a subscription to Overdrive Advantage. You must log in with your Abington library card before searching for titles in order to find the Abington-only eBooks. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting the Old Colony Library Network's Digital Media Home.
