Introduction- Asif Anusheh

Hi everyone! I am Anusheh from 5F, the proposed president of Abelia.

I would like to start with my time in Orion. In Form 4, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and I took the opportunity to be the Academic Officer of Orion. It was a huge leap for me because I never thought that I would associate Student Council with myself due to my shy personality.

From the beginning of our term, I engaged in as many events and activities as I could. In the wake of a pandemic, school suspension had occurred. However, I believe that we handled it amazingly as we were not only responsive but also organised online activities as a replacement. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time in Orion and I feel proud of what we achieved.

Using the expertise, resources, and knowledge that I obtained in Orion, I presume that Abelia will be able to use it effectively to tackle problems that may arise. Besides, in times of uncertainty, I have a much deeper understanding of how to approach the situation.

In the coming school year, I hope Abelia will be able to put emphasis on both senior and junior forms. By operating smoothly with various online and physical activities and events. Moreover, I would like to further establish a more coherent bond between the Student Council and Students. Besides using online platforms, I want to reach out to students and gather opinions or problems that need to be resolved face-to-face.

Taking advantage of my determination, resilience, and reliability, I hope to be able to devise a noteworthy and remarkable school year. Therefore, Vote for Abelia, Cabinet Number One on September 24 💓!
