From the moment the show was selected and auditions held ; there was a challenge ahead but one that could be undertaken successfully. One has to only look at the delight of colour on stage ,to hear the beautiful harmonies and arrangements, to know that an extraordinary amount of time and commitment has been given. Our school show is as much a community effort as a school production and we are indebted to Boyle Musical Society for advice and guidance as always. To our sponsors and supporters we simply could not produce this show without your financial contributions. Enda, Shane and Donal ably assisted by our students backstage. Our set construction crew Aiden, Ruari and Stacey. Aisling and Annette on costumes thanks to you all. Tom, and Nigel and our light and sound engineers. The teachers , parents and students who have helped to date and helped to pull everything together . Our parents' association have been instrumental in facilitating the shop and supporting our raffle along with Ms. Lavin. Ms. Jenny Wallace and Victoria Walker, Director and Choreographer respectively, always watching attentively making notes and advising students. We are in for a particular treat this week with Ms Hannon as Musical Director and her orchestra who have travelled distances to be here, bringing the music from the pages to life. This is an enchanting and spectacular musical that will not disappoint. A debt of gratitude to Viv Moran for helping select our cast and beginning the journey and igniting the idea of this show and many others. Sit back and enjoy the show.
