கவிஞர், எழுத்தாளர், அறிவியலாளர் போன்ற பன்முகத்தன்மை கொண்டவர்தான் கவிஞர் ஆதிரன் அவர்கள். வேதியியல் துறையில் அறிவியல் நிறைஞர் (M.Sc.), மெய்ப்பொருளியல் நிறைஞர் (M.Phil.) மற்றும் ஆய்வியல் அறிஞர் (முனைவர் பட்டம்) (Ph.D.) போன்ற பட்டங்களைப் பெற்றவர். அதுமட்டுமின்றி தமிழில் முதுகலைப் பட்டமும் (M.A.) பெற்றவர். பன்னாட்டு மருந்து தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனங்களில் மேலாளர் மற்றும் சிங்கப்பூர் தேசிய பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ஆய்வாளர் போன்ற பதவிகள் வகித்தவர். சிங்கப்பூர் நாசிம் அரிமாச் சங்கத்தில் உறுப்பினராக இணைந்து பல பொதுப்பணிகளாற்றியவர். இந்திய செஞ்சிலுவை சங்கம், புதுச்சேரி மற்றும் புதுவைத் தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் ஆகியவற்றில் வாழ்நாள் உறுப்பினராக உள்ளார். தமிழை மிகவும் நேசிப்பவர். கவிதை, கதை, மற்றும் கட்டுரை எழுதும் ஆற்றலுடையவர். இவருடைய கவிதைகள் பல்வேறு மாத இதழ்களிலும் வார இதழ்களிலும் வெளிவந்துள்ளன. இவரது அறிவியல் கட்டுரைகள் சிங்கப்பூர் மக்கள் மனம் மாத இதழில் தொடர்ச்சியாக வெளிவருகின்றன. இவரது சிறுகதைகள் மற்றும் கவிதைகள் போட்டிகளில் பங்கு பெற்று பரிசைப் பெற்றுள்ளன.

AATHIRAN, the poet, is a versatile individual who is a writer and a scientist. He holds Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Science (M.Phil.), and Doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees in chemistry. Apart from that, he also holds a Master's degree (M.A.) in Tamil. He has held positions such as manager in multinational pharmaceutical companies and research fellow at the National University of Singapore. He was a member of the Lions Club of Singapore Nassim and has done many public works. He is a life member of both the Puduvai Tamil Sangam and the Indian Red Cross Society of Puducherry. He loves Tamil very much and has the ability to write poems, stories, and essays. His poems have appeared in various monthly and weekly magazines. The Singapore "Makkal Manam" magazine regularly publishes his scientific articles. His short stories and poems have won prizes in competitions.
