Title: Pollen grain of Justicia furcata. This tiny specimen is part of millions of pollen grains responsible for the floristic diversity of the planet and, therefore, for much of the food we eat.
Technique: Microphotography taken with Airyscan-Confocal under a Zeiss LSM 980 microscope. The ornamentation of the grain and its internal structure are detailed.

Title: Pollen grain of Canelo or Foyke (Drimys winteri J.R. Forst. G. Forst; Winteraceae), sacred tree of the Mapuche People and Machi`s symbol (Shaman). It is planted next to the Rehue (pillar-like sacred altar or totem) during the Guillatún and Machitún spiritual ceremonies.
Technique: Microphotography using Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
