DIRECTIONS - Follow the directions to Sattler Falls. To view the upper falls, climb into the woods on the west side of the creek and climb steeply up the hill to a view of the falls. You will have to climb about 600' vertically to get the view I did.

This tall, but small volume waterfall occurs on the same stream as Sattler Falls. I have seen some maps refer to this as Berry Creek. The waterfall takes place where the stream horsetails down the cliff in a pair of horsetail drops. The canyon below the falls is buried in a pile of logs, trees, snow, rocks, and other debris virtually every winter so it is a mess. Getting to the falls involves climbing up the very steep mountainside for several hundred vertical feet from the road. The effort required to get a clear view of this waterfall is pretty substantial, so I would recommend visiting some of the better waterfalls in the area instead.

You can actually see the falls from the highway through the trees. It's just not a very good view.
