Welcome to the Klang Valley (KV) Weekly & Peak Hour Incentive Program portal. This page details the structure, eligibility, mechanics, and rules of the incentive program starting May 2026.
Please read these guidelines carefully to ensure you optimize your weekly earnings and meet all qualification baselines.
📅 Program Validity Period
Effective Date: 18 May 2026
Expiry Date: To Be Announced (TBA)
Incentive Cycle: Weekly (Monday 12:00 AM to Sunday 11:59 PM)
⚙️ Program Mechanics & Performance Tiers
Once you have secured your baseline metrics (Rating 4.5 and Completion Rate 90%), your payout tier is determined by achieving EITHER the minimum trips completed OR the minimum Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) collected.
Note: Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) represents the total fares collected from passenger rides. The "either/or" rule means if you fall short on trips but meet the GMV target (or vice versa), you still qualify for that tier's respective payout.
📝 Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
The incentive structure applies to all registered AirAsia Ride driver types, including Flexi, Captain Pro, and Allstar drivers, operating within the Klang Valley (KV) Zone (which explicitly includes Cyberjaya).
Baseline Metrics
Driver Rating: Drivers must maintain a minimum weekly rating of 4.5 as recorded on the AirAsia Ride Driver App at the end of the incentive cycle.
Completion Rate (CR): Drivers must maintain a minimum completion rate of 90% for the week.
Failure to meet either standard disqualifies the driver from the entire week's incentive, regardless of total trips or GMV collected.
GMV Calculation
Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) is calculated based solely on the official total fares collected for completed rides during the cycle.
Tips given voluntarily by passengers are strictly excluded from the GMV calculation.
Tolls and airport charges are calculated based on standard platform operational policies.
Peak Window Definition
Peak hour trips are calculated strictly for pickups that occur within the two (02) designated high-demand daily windows:
Morning Peak Window: 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM
Evening Peak Window: 05:00 PM – 08:00 PM
Trip eligibility is determined by the passenger's booking request/pickup timestamp falling within these exact windows.
Payment Timeline
The incentive calculation cycle runs from Monday (00:00) to Sunday (23:59).
Data audit and processing take place on Monday and Tuesday.
Approved incentive payouts will be disbursed to the driver's cash-wallet between Wednesday and Friday of the following week.
Fraud Prevention and Auditing
Irregular Patterns: Frequent or repeated bookings from the same passenger accounts will be flagged and excluded from the weekly trip count.
Account Safety: AirAsia Ride reserves the absolute right to suspend, withhold, or cancel any incentive payouts if fraudulent, collusive, or illegal booking activities are detected. Offenders may face permanent account deactivation.
🚗 Operational Driver Scenarios
To help you understand how the final combined value and gatekeepers work in practice, study these four driver scenarios:
Scenario A: The High Performer (Tier 1 Payout)
Driver Rating: 4.8 (Passed ✅)
Completion Rate: 94% (Passed ✅)
Trips Completed: 152
GMV Collected: RM 2,850
Result: This driver passed both baseline metrics. Even though their GMV (RM 2,850) only met Tier 2, their Completed Trips (152) reached Tier 1. Because of the "Either / Or" mechanic, they receive the Tier 1 payout of RM 350.
Scenario B: Qualifying via Revenue (Tier 2 Payout)
Driver Rating: 4.6 (Passed ✅)
Completion Rate: 91% (Passed ✅)
Trips Completed: 115
GMV Collected: RM 2,600
Result: This driver passed the baseline metrics. While their 115 trips only hit Tier 3, their GMV of RM 2,600 qualified for Tier 2. They receive the Tier 2 payout of RM 200.
Scenario C: Failed Baseline Gatekeeper (No Payout)
Driver Rating: 4.7 (Passed ✅)
Completion Rate: 88% (Failed ❌ - below 90% threshold)
Trips Completed: 160
GMV Collected: RM 3,200
Result: Despite hitting high performance numbers that would otherwise qualify for Tier 1, the driver did not meet the mandatory $90%$ Completion Rate. Payout is RM 0.
Scenario D: Low Performance (No Payout)
Driver Rating: 4.5 (Passed ✅)
Completion Rate: 90% (Passed ✅)
Trips Completed: 72
GMV Collected: RM 1,800
Result: The driver met the baselines, but failed to reach the minimum Tier 3 requirement of 80 trips or RM 2,000 GMV. Payout is RM 0.
Q1: If I complete 150 trips but my weekly rating is 4.4, do I still get an incentive?
No. Driver rating and Completion Rate ($90%$) are critical baseline requirements. If either falls below the required threshold, you are disqualified from receiving any incentive payout for that week.
Q2: What counts towards the GMV collected?
Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) is the total passenger fare of your completed trips. Please note that passenger tips are not counted toward your weekly GMV target.
Q3: Why haven't I received my incentive payout by Tuesday?
Weekly incentives go through an audit process to ensure driver fairness and check for fraudulent activity. Payouts are scheduled for disbursement between Wednesday and Friday of the following week. If you still have not received it by Friday evening, please reach out to our Driver Support Desk.
