FL-AAPT 2021 Fall Meeting

Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Hosted by University of North Florida as a hybrid event (face-to-face and Zoom options).

    • Panel discussion: "Issues we Encounter During Course Redesign"

    • Morning contributed sessions

    • Afternoon workshops on technology for teaching, including Jupyter, and labs using cell phone apps

Parking, Meeting Location, and Campus Map

Here is a link to a printable UNF campus map. The meeting will be held in building #50, the Science and Engineering Building. The morning session will be in the auditorium, Room #1202. The afternoon workshops will be in the computer lab, Room #2400.

Parking is free on the weekend, and is available in building #38, the Arena Parking Garage.

  • Register at this link. Registration includes membership dues. Please support the work of FL-AAPT, as a new or returning member! Annual membership dues for 2021-2022 are only $20, and help us support our web operations and grant projects. Plus, you'll receive electronic newsletters packed with useful links!

  • Your conference materials will be sent to the e-mail address you specify in your registration form, including the Zoom meeting link. The Zoom link will only be sent to registered attendees.

  • We will e-mail a certificate of completion and agenda to K-12 teachers who require it in order to apply to their district for in-service certification points.

Lodging

Here is a link to UNF's list of preferred hotels. If you are planning to stay in Jacksonville overnight at one of these hotels, call the hotel to inquire about the UNF preferred rate.

Be a Presenter

Lead a workshop, share a classroom strategy, or talk about your research – we are offering a variety of presentation formats. University students, researchers, and K-12 and higher ed faculty, and others are encouraged to submit.
