Receiving an Honorable Mention from the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) was a milestone in my journey. It reminded me that my passion for technology, leadership, and empowering young women in STEM is valued beyond just the classroom. I met so many other young, passionate individuals, and it was wonderful to celebrate all of us in the room. This recognition encouraged me to keep pushing forward, continue growing, and inspire others to see themselves in tech.
Dublin Community Champion Award given by Dublin Chamber of Commerce
I was honored to receive the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Award from the City of Dublin. This recognition meant a lot to me because it highlighted not just my technical projects, but also the time I’ve devoted to giving back. From mentoring younger students, running tech workshops, and helping create opportunities for others in STEM, it has always been a joy giving back to my community.
"The Light that Shines" award given by EmpoWE-R Women of InfoSec
It was an honor to be awarded “The Light that Shines” award in September 2024, which is dedicated to honor women who volunteer their time to further the missions of organizations. I received this award from the EmpoWE-R Women of Information Security (InfoSec) organization. Microsoft Cybersecurity Certification Scholarship Program by Women In Cloud
I received the Microsoft Cybersecurity Certification Scholarship awarded by Women In Cloud (WIC) in July 2024. This scholarship gave me access to Microsoft Cybersecurity Analyst Professional Certificate program on Coursera. From there I will be skilled with the knowledge to take the SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Exam. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity, as it will enhance my knowledge of cybersecurity and support my career growth in this field.
Justin Kerby Scholarship
I received the Justin Kerby Scholarship in May of 2024 at the COISSA summit. This scholarship was given to support individuals in the cybersecurity and information security fields. It was an honor to be selected as one of the scholarship recipients. With my scholarship, I plan to pursue and study for more cybersecurity certifications.
