Print and cut 2 copies- have them match the pictures, play go fish or memory
Print and cut 1 copy , have your child identify a weekly word "find_________" or "touch__________"
If your child has an AAC device used for communication, have them look for their weekly word on their device (use search feature to locate the word initially)
Use the weekly word in a sentence verbally or using AAC
Have your child visually track a picture-shine a flashlight on the picture and label what the item is (ie: shopping cart)
Engage with hands on items that relate to the weekly words (ie: grocery store circular-grocery store, apple, carrots, exercise activity-healthy, have your student pick their favorite activity
Grocery Store Book

Print and read the book. Identify weekly the weekly words or items that relate to the weekly words. On the last page have your child draw a picture or help them print/find a picture in a magazine or circular of their favorite item from a grocery store. Color the book when complete!
My Plate Food Sort
Cut and paste the food groups into the correct spot to create a balanced plate. Use the ones provided or create your own plate with pictures from a magazine or a grocery store circular.
