Special Forces Medics are sourced from the Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to Special Air Service Elements as Special Forces Medics (SFM) to provide essential life saving aid and operate as in-field surgeons. Operating both as the highest tier in medical support in mission environments but also under extreme pressure.

Special Forces Medics will be proactive and responsible for additional medical responsibilities that are not available to the standard Patrol Medic, they also exercise the highest authority when establishing and operating in a Casualty Collection Point (CCP). Being the first and last point of contact when coordinating and relieving medical situations in-field.
