264 Signals is an element apart of the 18 Signals Regiment, attached to Special Air Service Elements as Special Forces Communicators (SFC) to provide additional communications capability to their counterparts. Operating at the highest level in difficult and often changing circumstances in situations that are important operationally and strategically.Â

Special Forces Communicators will not only enable effective communication across elements during Operations but also be trained in utilizing specialist equipment to acquire Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and operate Electronic Warfare (EW). Whether this is done by flying small drones to jamming or tapping into hostile signals and communication channels to pinpoint and gain the upper hand on their enemy.
