It was our great pleasure to welcome 130 participants from 26 countries who joined the final 8th ΕRNEST meeting “GPCR structure and function: The present and perspectives for the future” held May 3-7, 2023 at the Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAC) at the village of Kolymbari, Crete, Greece.
The ERNEST COST action's aim was to enhance our knowledge and expand our understanding of GPCR signaling mechanisms by unifying different disciplines from molecular, structural, cellular, physiological and clinical perspectives.
During this 5-day event, an exciting program including up-to date work brought together internationally renowned scientists and early career researchers to interact and discuss the latest scientific findings, innovations and technologies in GPCR signaling.
In addition to the exciting program, we had the pleasure to explore the culture and sights of Crete, which offer a uniquely eclectic mixture of archaeological, traditional, culinary and landscape attractions.
Ιt has been an exciting and fascinating journey for all ERNESTers!
We hope that we shall meet again for new scientific adventures.
