Paper Submission
Anyone interested in taking part is required to send an e-mail to the following address 8th.classics.conf.uoi@gmail.com including ‘8th Conference of MA students and PhD Candidates in Classics’ as a Subject and attach the following documents:
A Student verification letter provided by the University they are enrolled in.
Two files providing an abstract of their proposal in the form of a doc or a docx file. One of these should include the name of the potential participant and the other should be anonymous. The files need to include select bibliography (up to 15 works) and 5 key words, as well. The word limit is 400 words, excluding the select bibliography and the key words. The file with the participant’s name should also provide their personal data. More specifically:
Their name and surname.
Their status at the University (whether they are an MA student of a PhD candidate)
The name of the University they are enrolled in.
Their personal e-mail address.
Their phone number.
All abstracts should have the following features:
Font: Times New Roman (or another type of Unicode, if needed) 12pt.
Line spacing: 1,5.
Text justification: full.
Title: centred and bold.
NOTE: Any abstract that does not follow all the instructions above, will be automatically rejected.
Paper Publication
The abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Conference which consists of scholars teaching at the Department of Philology of the University of Ioannina.
The participants’ papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference after evaluation.
