Times are hard and even with your unique talent you and your companion are barely scraping a living. On October 1st you both awoke to a loud banging on you chamber door. You each grab a nearby weapon and rush to the door and swing it open. There is no one to be found, but at your feet is what can only be described as a gift basket. It is a dark weave basket, it's contents wrapped in a fine white linen tablecloth. You exchange weary glances bring it inside and unwrap it on your table to reveal:

1 large loaf of bread
1 small jar of rich creamed butter
2 green apples
1 small jar of honey
1 large chunk of cured pork
2 smoked and dried fish
4 small sweet rolls
1 bottle of red wine
1 letter with a wax seal

The wax seal is a brilliant purple adorned with a simple bird, and an elaborate "P". As you crack the seal a bolt of lightening illuminates the cloudy sky. With unease, you unfold the letter:

Your appearance is requested for the 500th birthday of Occultist Price. No gifts are expected, on the contrary, you will be paid the sum of 10,000gp if you attend the full duration of the planned festivities. Please arrive at the gates to the Knowby Manor overlooking the town of Duskfall on October 31st no later than 11:00pm for a short meet and greet after which Mr. Price will welcome you into the Manor for the remainder of the evening.
