"We Are Connected" & We "Live to Give!"

Photos: A.Ihlenfeld, 11th Grader, shared the following: "Today, Tuesday May 12, 2020 I went to a cafe and got food, soup, and smoothies. We brought it to my local dire department. There are only 2 people there today as our fire house is a volunteer based place. And I got a picture with one of them." Great job, A! Way to give back to our hometown heroes! :)

Photo: Mr. Stephen Hodges, 8th Grade History Teacher, recently joined up with his church and his son’screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cqXrrFUvWSs boy scout troop to fill a cart for their local pantry. The local water bills have exploded recently in their usually upper middle class town- and their local pantries have been decimated by the needs of families who suddenly cannot afford all their bills. He plans to fill another cart soon.
Junior, H. Hall and her grandparents donated food and blankets to their local animal shelter. H. also spent some time with the animals while she was there. Thank you for spreading hope and kindness, H!

Hundreds for Hope & Kindness!

Just look at the goodie bags for the homeless! Hundreds were made at BEE Kind events and donated to shelters around the state. Thank you to all of our families, staff and students who participated, and to Julene Knudson and Susan Franz for coordinating the fun!

Bravo to the Lee family as well for their participation in the Groveport Madison High School Boys Basketball team event to raise funds and awareness for Groveport Special Olympics!

Photo: J. Lee is an exceptional 7th grade student and member of NJHS. Not only does she spend most of her free time volunteering; she has been volunteering since preschool. This year Jael has been accepted into Columbus' City Leaders Academy (and earned the "Columbus Mayor's 20 Under 20" Award) which will help her hone her skills for her future in law enforcement and SWAT. Everyday Jael shows that she is 100% accountable.
