In Florida, resources are abundant. But elsewhere, it can be harder to come by. So for those who are struggling to survive due to a lack of some of the most essential resources on this planet, I am fighting for you. Fighting to build awareness, pushing for a worldwide movement, not one of industries, not one of governments, one of everyone, society.
This event is building awareness and support for resource conservation through canal and beach cleanups, educational content and strategic partnerships. Providing content and resources to those who need it most is an essential step to take for a better, greener more sustainable tomorrow.
For the people who think their actions don't make a difference, think about everyone who watches you, follows you and mimics you. Your children, relatives, friends and coworkers. Think about the trajectory of your offspring if you teach your children how to live sustainably, and lastly, imagine how much more money you would save if you didn't use as many resources. The first step to making a difference is to change your own habits.
There is no guarantee label on this. I, Charles Richardson, have crossed my fingers and planned this event with the expectation of running it on my own, but the optimism of gaining some support. I am experimenting whether this mission is achievable now, or if we have to learn from our actions once the damage is done.
Like our parents and teachers taught us as little kids, we should share. Yet as a society, companies have taught us to use. This event is committed to changing the way we look at our resources, from something we use and dispose to something we share and recycle.
My first video of the series Charlies Footprint, teaches about smart laundry strategies to save energy and money, give it a watch!
