American Helicopter Museum

The American Helicopter Museum runs the Girls in Science and Technology Program, a 10-week hands on science learning experience for girls in grades 3-12. Every session begins with a presentation and Q&A with a woman with a career in STEM. Pod members are often speakers for this. JoEllen McBride is the Education mentor for the Astronomy session. She mentors college aged women majoring in STEM fields and presents hands on Astro activities to 4th grade girls. Pod members are also active on the Museum Board's Education Committee.
