The two parallel meetings of the fourth project meeting took place in Poland, in the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza. A Transnational Meeting for teachers (Agenda) and a Short-term Training for students and their accompanying persons(Agenda 1).
They all spend a whole week in Dabrowa from the 17th October to 23nd October. The partners arrived on Sunday 28th so as to be ready to work on Monday morning when we started together with a warm welcome from the school headmaster and became familiar with the school with a tour around.
After the introduction we got down to work on our main task which was face to face testing the Learning Module. On Monday it was Poland and Romania’s assignment to present their topic and work on it with students by means of presentations, lectures, exercises, tests etc. The topic for Poland on Monday was: Generalities: History of 3D technology, Technology of a 3D printer, printing filaments (printing materials). The topic for Romania on Monday was: Setting up a company and the Social Entrepreneurship; General framework, setting up a business that uses the 3D printer.
On Tuesday the German and the Greek team presented their common topic and work on it with students by means of presentations and workshops. The topic for Monday was : Available software for 3Dprinting and other sources, programming with CAD, task examples with different software design and 3D printing.
On Wednesday all the partners had the opportunity to visit Wroclaw which is the largest city in the historical region of Silesia , a city of several architectural landmarks and edifices and one of the best examples of Brick Gothic and Baroque architecture in the country. We were all pleased to become acquainted with the polish culture and spend time with each other. It was an experience both for students and teachers.
On Thursday the two teams from Spain presented and test their topics: SPAIN-Sevilla Programming with CAD, programming with SketchUp, programming with 3D Scan ; SPAIN-Castelldefels- Testing the study module 3D printer and Internet of Technology: The Internet of Things IoT, Industry 4.0 (Fourth Industrial Revolution), Impact on the economy and industry, Impact on the society and politics.
Friday was dedicated to working session at school and the evaluation of the meeting. The partners also discussed about the plans of the fifth project meeting in Seville Spain in March 2022.
The fourth project meeting was excellent organised and successfully completed covering everything on the list ,delivering project and leaving all participants looking forward to the next meeting in Sevilla.
