Fifth meeting – Spain(Seville)

The two parallel meetings of the fifth project meeting took place in Spain, in the city of Seville . A Transnational Meeting for teachers and a Short-term Training for students and their accompanying teachers. (Agenda)

They all spend a whole week in Seville from the 26.03.2022 until 01.04.2022. The partners arrived on Saturday the 26^th, Sunday had been an all-day tour to the city of Seville, so as to be ready to work on Monday morning when we started together with a warm welcome from the school headmaster and became familiar with the school with a tour around.

The meeting was exclusively dedicated to the testing of the educational material of the program (LM) on the Moodle educational platform by the students.

Thus, students from Spain, Germany, Romania, Poland and Greece had the opportunity to collaborate in groups in order to carry out group workshops related to the creation of constructions using 3D printer technology. So the draw 3d models in CAD software then printed them in a 3D printer.

In parallel , the teachers discussed about the progress of the project, evaluated the steps that had been taken so far and set up the date for the next and final meeting in Germany.

Students and teachers also visited the Seville-based Loyola University and were given a tour of the University, where they were informed about the institute's activities over 3D printing and the use of their constructions in agriculture and other areas of everyday life. They also visited a newly established company that deals with specific actions and were informed about its work.

Apart from these activities, the participants had the opportunity to tour the historic centre of the city, to get to know the sights of the area, to taste the local cuisine and to watch a flamenco show.

The meeting, as agreed by all partners, was excellently organized in all areas and fields by the Spanish SAFA School. (some photos here)
