I am Vanessa from New Mexico

Fishing on Fridays and Hunting on Saturdays

I am a mom to a toddler, singing in our jammies to dress up and tea parties'

From long nights by the campfire to jumping off cliffs by the lake

I am from drawing, reading, and video games

Dogs and cats and lots of brothers and sisters

I am from Noelia and Alfredo, two family oriented parents who taught me the value of hard work

I am me and that is all I want to be

West Main St in a small town with only 3 stoplights called Bloomfield

Where I grew up with my brother, my sister, and our beloved dog

In a city of misfits with nothing to do but get into trouble

This is where I learned the freedom of getting an education and to appreciate the small things

My parents pushed me and my sibling to leave this town called a black hole by getting an education and perusing our dreams

In the end no matter where life takes me this is home the place we come together to celebrate holidays
