There is a pdf file in the original registration email on the website forum. There is also a tab on this site that will take you to the Class Schedule file.
No, for this coming school year, only 6th grade and up need to formally register for classes on the website. Younger students have a set schedule with their grade level peers.
If there is a waitlist, get on the waitlist. BUT THEN please choose another class for that semester and hour. In order to spread the students out somewhat evenly, caps have to be placed on class sizes. This also accommodates some of the teaching curriculum, styles, and allows for a greater teacher-student and student-student connection.
If a younger student wishes to take a High School class, the parent first needs to contact the Director AND the teacher of that class for approval. Then AFTER all students of the "offered age group" have registered AND there is still room in the class, the younger student may register for that class. Please also let the Scheduler know of this situation. Registration for "above or below" official grade level classes will not take place until later on registration day (see specific instructions for times). This gives plenty of time for all students in that grade level to register if they choose.
On occasion, a couple of our High School students serve as "teacher helpers" in some elementary classes. If your High School student wishes to serve as a "teacher helper" in a younger class, the parent first needs to contact the Director.
The class fee is for the ENTIRE YEAR (or length of course) and is due in full at the August Mandatory Meeting. So, when registering for a year-long class, it will only show a fee for the FALL semester. That fee applies to the whole year.
Yes, the teacher will purchase supplies and plan for their maximum number of students. So if your kid joins midway, the teacher will already be prepared for them. It is the easiest way to address the few who choose to enter/leave year long classes with fees.
Please feel free to contact Ashley or Linda and we will help you out.
As questions arise, we will add them here so that others can see the answers.
