Snowman Slime

Snowman slime is fluffy slime with a little bit of glitter to make it look like snow. This is a fun and simple to make with kids to gift to other kids (if you can get it out of their hands).

Materials needed:

  • 2/3 cup of Elmer’s White Glue- I don’t recommend any other brand
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2-3 cups Shaving Cream (not gel)
  • 1.5 Tablespoons Contact Lens Solution – **Your brand of contact lens solution must have boric acid and sodium borate or you won’t be making slime but a sticky mess. I recommend Renu Fresh (or Equate brand)
  • Glitter- or liquid food coloring if you want colored snowmen
  • Containers- I like to reuse plastic and glass containers but the $1 store has great small plastic ones

Step 1

Stir together glue, water, and baking soda

Step 2

Add shaving cream and mix.

Start with 2 cups. You can always add more.

Step 3

Add glitter

or food coloring

Step 4

Slowly add in your contact solution- If slime does not form check the ingredients of your solution.

Fluffy slime is a bit sticky but if it is too sticky, add more contact solution in small amounts.

Step 5

Package and dress up as a snowman.

Step 6

Optional

Add a cute label. Linked here or make your own
