Blank Greeting Card with Fabric Stabilizer on Embroidery Hoop

TurtleStitch Greeting Cards

Holding a coded a design in your hand is magical. I love handing a design to a student and watching his/her face light up. TurtleStitch is user friendly and similar enough to other coding platforms that my students have been able to jump right in and create beautiful designs.

Export your design

My Brother PE770 takes .DXT files so export the file as a .DXT file.

I have made a short video for you, but these are the steps:

  • Place one piece of fabric stabilizer in the embroidery hoop.
  • Spray two dime sized dots of Spray n Bond basting adhesive to the back of the card.
  • Center the card on the embroidery hoop.
  • Load the hoop on the embroidery machine.
  • Start embroidering your design.
  • Unload the embroidery hoop.
  • Cut off extra fabric stabilizer.
