［ 以策展作為社群參與 Curating as Community Engagement ］

本國際專題講座，邀請加州大學美熹德分校藝術史學者王士圃教授，分享其在美國與日本博物館策展的實務經驗與研究成果。講座將介紹其策劃大型巡迴展覽的歷程，並探討策展如何成為連結歷史、文化與社群的重要媒介。王教授亦將以其長期研究亞裔移民藝術史的視角，說明博物館與策展如何重新發掘被忽略的藝術家與歷史敘事，進而促進公共參與與文化對話。講座將以英文進行，並搭配即時vurbo.ai字幕翻譯字幕翻譯。

This international lecture invites Professor Shi-Pu Wang, an art historian at the University of California, Merced, to share his curatorial practice and research experiences working with museums in the United States and Japan. The lecture will introduce the development and organization of several large-scale traveling exhibitions curated by Professor Wang and examine how curatorial practice can function as an important platform for connecting history, culture, and communities.

Drawing on his long-standing research on Asian immigrant art history, Professor Wang will further discuss how museums and curatorial projects can rediscover overlooked artists and historical narratives, thereby fostering broader public engagement and cultural dialogue.
