Range and Target Activities features 5 shooting ranges, including three for Scouts BSA! We offer shotgun shooting, rifle shooting and archery. For the latter two, make sure to enter into the contest to see which Scout, and which adult leader, has the highest score for the week!
Merit Badges
All Range and Target Activities badges run Monday - Thursday. For a detailed, comprehensive merit badge schedule, including prerequisites, restrictions, and other requirements, please visit the merit badge page.
Archery (1:30 PM - 2:45 PM)
Rifle Shooting (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Shotgun Shooting (12:15 PM - 2:00 PM)
Troop Programs
Troop Shoot - Offered for both Rifle and Archery, this perennially popular program offers Scouts the opportunity to hone their skills on the range.
Water Dunk - Race against a fellow Scout and shoot at a target. If you hit it, the Scout next to you gets water dumped on their head!
Open Programs
Open Rifle - Take your marksmanship to the rifle range and keep climbing for a better and better score!
Open Archery - Consider yourself an expert archer? Put that determination to the test during Open Archery. Not quite there? Not to worry, the staff will be happy to help you.
Open Shotgun - Work to take down clay pigeons at our shotgun range. Only available to Scouts 14 years of age and older.
