My experiences have been limited to voting for Democratic candidates, and donating to campaigns on local, state, and national levels. On a broader scale, I have volunteered as a Deputy Registrar in areas of lower voter turnout in Dallas, and once as an election protection attorney.

Without mentioning your opponent(s) what makes you the best candidate for this position? *

I have over 20 years of experience as a family law attorney that includes representing parents and advocating for children in a variety of family law matters. My clientele has been as diverse as the citizens of Dallas County across intersections of race, gender, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and persons with disabilities and learning differences. I have been a fierce advocate for children who have been abused or neglected as their court-appointed counsel. I not only know the law, but I also know how to practice it. Because of these experiences, I also understand the perspective of the litigant who needs thoughtful consideration, timely resolution, and clear decisions from their judges.

I have been actively engaged in the Democratic Party through consistent participation in local elections, voter engagement efforts, and support of Democratic candidates and initiatives. From an early age, I have valued civic involvement and have remained committed to Democratic principles of fairness, access to justice, and community responsibility. My engagement reflects a long standing dedication to public service, accountability, and strengthening democratic participation at the local level. I will always cherish my first campaign in high school when I ran for class president.

Without mentioning your opponent(s) what makes you the best candidate for this position? *

I am the best candidate for this position because I bring proven judicial experience, steady leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to serving families and children with fairness and integrity. With more than eighteen years of legal experience and over a decade as an Associate Judge, I am prepared to serve effectively on day one without a learning curve.

My work on the bench reflects consistency, preparation, and respect for the rule of law. I manage complex, high volume dockets efficiently while ensuring due process and that every person is treated with dignity. I have presided over thousands of cases and I understand the real impact judicial decisions have on families, particularly children, and I approach each case with care, impartiality, and sound judgment.

Beyond experience, my leadership is grounded in service. My community involvement and lived experiences inform a thoughtful, child centered approach to justice. I am committed to transparency, accountability, and maintaining public trust in the judiciary. Together, these qualities make me well prepared to serve this office with competence, compassion, and integrity.
